Advancing development cooperation to address climate, risk and resilience
(Bali, 4-6 March 2020)
International development cooperation for disaster risk reduction and climate action is a potential game-changer, given significant gaps in SDG financing and an increasingly challenging global development landscape. The DCF Indonesia High-level Symposium will identifyconcrete and actionable policy measures that can strengthen coherence between development cooperation, disaster risk and climate policies.
The symposium will explore both how global frameworks, such as the Sendai Framework and Paris Agreementon Climate Change, are impacting development cooperation on the ground, and the extent to which realities at regional, national and subnational levels are informing and influencing global policy discussions.
